This week the PanPastelUk challenge is to include stripes in your creation. The background of the tag was created using various colours of Artbars. The border was created using a black sharpie pen and a white posca pen (these are some of my stripes). I stamped Rocky onto a separate piece of card, coloured the 'stripes' on his outfit with Adirondack pens. Stamped the words onto kraft card with picket fence distress stain and outlined them with black pen. And of course, I had to use pan pastels somewhere, you don't have to to enter the challenge, but if I can, I like to use the products of the sponsor, so his face and hands are lightly coloured with burnt sienna tint (740.8).
First, I LOVE your blog layout. The colors are phenomenal, Sam! Rocky is the stamp I want to buy most and you have done him justice. Totally love everything about this card. Good luck and I hope you win the challenge!
ReplyDeleteThat is what they call using stripes!
ReplyDeleteLovely. He even has stripes on his sweater :-)
Love, Marianne
Great tag Sam! Love the little chap of course but I also think the words on kraft card using picket fence are very effective - great idea! And it wouldn't be yours without some artfully applied PP's! Love it AND your blog design - is this new or have I had my eyes closed??
