Adirondak Colour Layering

Got up early this morning and took Fraz to the woods. Of course, I had an ulteria motive, I needed some decent leaves!!! I carried out the same process as before but used less of the spray. I'm quite pleased with the results and at least this time, they do look like leaves!! Top set cranberry, middle, wild plum and bottom lettuce, all adirondak colour wash sprays.

These are the results after the alcohol inks and the blending solution have been applied. I am pleased with the first 4 but I don't think the green is a dark enough colour to start the background off. I started to use cranberry alcohol ink and quickly decided it was to dark. On the opposite side I tried the gold metalic but that didn't work either, so I switched to butterscotch for the remainder

  3. Oh, these look brill, you can really see the fronds on the leaves so you've obviously cracked it.

I love the variety of shapes/colours and even tho' you're not too chuffed with a couple of them, I think the random effects you get with the sprays looks brill!
