This is my altered photoframe for a swap I am hosting on Lotstodo Forum. I gesso'd it, then lightly scrubbed olive and timber stazon ink all over the frame. Using cut n dry foam I then inked a combination of spiced marmalade, frayed burlap and peeled paint distressed inks over the top. Finally, I stamped script in each corner, a crackle image across the top and bottom and a key on each of the sides, all in timber stazon ink - To see the finer detail, you really need to click on the image
It's stunning Sam - Love everything about but it in particular the artists signatures in the corners - fantastic
ReplyDeleteOh that's what they are is it - LOL!!!! They are just on a cube stamp that I have from Judikins - I think you have the same one with the keys, the face and the compass
ReplyDeleteIt's fab Sam I am still looking for a frame
ReplyDeleteLovely piece. The different colours on the gesso are really effective and I especially like the crackle stamp effect and writing too.
