Altered Photoframe

This is my altered photoframe for a swap I am hosting on Lotstodo Forum. I gesso'd it, then lightly scrubbed olive and timber stazon ink all over the frame. Using cut n dry foam I then inked a combination of spiced marmalade, frayed burlap and peeled paint distressed inks over the top. Finally, I stamped script in each corner, a crackle image across the top and bottom and a key on each of the sides, all in timber stazon ink - To see the finer detail, you really need to click on the image

  4. Lovely piece. The different colours on the gesso are really effective and I especially like the crackle stamp effect and writing too.
