Gelli Plate Books

I recently signed up for an online class with Kelley Walker called Monoprint Bound.  The first part was to do with making gelli print pages and the second part was related to binding books.  So here are some of my results after my mega gelli plate print marathon yesterday.  So here are the front and back covers, the middle is a piece of canvas painted in the new PA plum fresco paint and stencilled with snowflake.

These are the inside covers, I decided to use one gelli print so the insides are the same.

This is how it was bound and I finished it off with beads and buttons.  Unfortunately the coloured thread that I have was just too thick, so I had to stick with the white, but it looks okay.

I put four signatures inside and each signature has a gelli plate print cover, double sided.

And this is the finished book, it stand 8 1/2 inches high and is 5 1/2 inches wide.

I'm hoping to sell them on my table at the Christmas Fair in November.
