Guilding Flakes & Acetate

This is another postcard.  The background is the tissue paper from the caught in crystal I previously made.  I stuck it to the card with intentional creases in for a more textured effect.  The image was printed onto the acetate.  Guilding flakes were adhered to one side of a piece of double sided film and the image on the acetate was stuck on the other. The bird image was cut from text paper with T!m's alteration dies.

The image and guilding for this one were done in exactly the same way as above except I run the edges over a candle flame for a different effect.  A piece of white core was run though the bigshot using the new cuttlebug clockworks embossing folder and sanded back. I stamped the word altered onto the hessian pillow, added a few metal embellishments and a corner piece.

  15. Love these. Great to see your style evolving. The gilding looks great (not done that for ages, either - must get flaky, lol) but I love the way you've layered everything. Great collage and fab colours.
