Lotstodo - Spring is in the Air


This is the mothers day card I made for my mum. I used dye based adirondack inks with hero arts stamps, inked them up and spritzed them with water to give a watercoloured effect. I then masked the flowers off and stamped the script background in willow adirondack. I stamped the letters individually, cut them out and used foam pads on some to raise them

Edited - she wasn't impressed with it!!!!!

    What do you mean, she wasn't impressed with it? Pah! I'll be your mum if you like, I'd be happy to have this up on my card shelf :o) Love the watercolour effect on the flowers and the script stamp finishes it off nicely - great job!

    I don't know what was wrong with it, but she took it out the envelope, looked at it for all of 2 seconds, said thanks and put it away again!!!!!

    So that kinda got me thinking that she wasn't very impressed with it!!!

    Ilove it Sam always like the look of sritzing to create that effect never tried it yet!!

    Aw, dont be dis-heartened, i too think its fab, i just love the water spritzed flowers xx They do say you cant choose your family lol
