I applied acrylic paint with a piece of cut n dry to create these backgrounds. I chose three colours which complimented each other for each background. I then used the tape lift stamping technique to create the images. Black stazon was used on them all
I created the background for the one at the top on the left using the shaving foam technique, just using the one colour and stamped the image with black stazon
I created the background for the one at the top on the right, using acrylic paints, by applying minimum amounts of paint on the brush and stroking the card in various direcetions. I used saddle brown stazon to stamp the image
The bottom one is created using the colour layering technique. I then added a tree image using timber brown stazon. I attached this to an atc which I had previously stamped the edges with fern leaves using saddle brown stazon
All these techniques can be found on our newly created blog Technique Zone

Oh, didn't realise the acrylic paint backgrounds were part of the same posting.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised how delicate the paint looks using this technique, not to heavy or bright. It's good.
