Last post for a while

I had to tidy my crafting area (aka the dining room!!) this weekend, as we are going on holiday on Friday. Mum is coming to stay to look after Fraz for us, so her and dad needed somewhere to eat their meals!!!! I'd forgotten what the table looked like too!!!

So this will be my last post for about 3 weeks

More Fat Pages

And here's a few more!!!

Fat Pages

Here are some fat pages I've created using my new stamps, apart from the top left, which is a piece of clay coloured with perfect pearls and a bottle top with a face added. A resist medium has been used on the backgrounds of the first 3, and the bottom left is green and red glimmer mists - embellishments have also been added

Wall Hanging

Another wall hanging from bit's I'd previously made

Ribbon Key

This is going to be one of my bits for the charity auction on Lotstodo forum. It's an old rusty key which Hilda kindly sent to me. I have glued and tied ribbons and fibres through the hole at the top using a cream and brown colour scheme, added a metal button which I've coloured with latte and caramel alcohol inks and finished off by tying a piece of rough string around the opposite end. It didn't look like this to start with, but thanks to the advise of a forum friend (LazyKay), I got there in the end and am now quite happy with the result

Donut Pendants

A couple more donut pendants made from marbled UTEE but this time I've been a bit more creative and added some beads!!!! Quite like them with a bit more decoration - these are on sale in my Ebay shop http://stores.ebay.co.uk/samshandmadecrafts?ssPageName=ADME:L:storeconfirma:UK:10001

Key Ring for Jo

This is especially for Jo, as when I sent out the last batch of samples, RM managed to loose Jo's, so I've made her something else, but again I was awaiting the key chains to finish it off. Will get it in the post to you Jo

Key Rings / Chains

Still waiting for my key chains to arrive, unfortunately there's been some hiccup with RM (say no more), but I found a shop it town that sells them today so I got a few to keep me going. Top one is UTEE marbled background with a UTEE sun from one of the moulds and the bottom one is a collage between 2 pieces of 2" x 2" memory glass and the sides have been dipped in the marbled UTEE to seal - these are on sale in my Ebay shop http://stores.ebay.co.uk/samshandmadecrafts?ssPageName=ADME:L:storeconfirma:UK:10001

Little Thank You's for Some Friends

These are little thank you files for a few friends who have recently helped me out. An image was stuck to the front a crown stamped on their heads, along with a 'thank you' message. The backs were stamped with the message 'you can never have too many friends'. The insides were stamped with the message 'friends...today, tomorrow, & always', flourishes, swirls, scratches and patterns. Timber brown staz on, frayed burlap and walnut stain distressed inks were used to do the stamping. All sides were covered in antique linen distressed ink

Prezzie from Hilda

How fantastic is this. The photo really doesn't do it justice. There is just so much work that has been put into this fabulous little book. Top left is the front and back and all the fab ribbons. Top right is the book stood up and you can see how many pages there are. The other 4 photos are examples of some of the lovely pages - Thank you so much Hilda xxxxxx

Cold & Frosty Morning

This morning we were up and out before the sun!!! It just started to appear over the fields when we got to the river. It was a truly gorgeous morning, with a lovely crisp, hard frost

007 Swap

I am hosting a James Bond themed swap on Lotstodo. The criteria was 3 items of choice, so I went for the above. The Atc has a piece I previously made with the melt pot, thought this was appropriate for 'Golden Eye'. The tag is a scene from Dr No and the Fat Page are the faces of all the guys who have played Bond. The backgrounds for all were created by swirling black soot distressed ink over white card

Wall Hangings

I was having a play and came up with these!!!! I covered 2 beer mats in the same papers, attached the string to one of them and then stuck them together, so the string hung from the middle. I then embellished them with some of the clay pieces I'd previously baked in my melt pot - these are on sale in my Ebay shop http://stores.ebay.co.uk/samshandmadecrafts?ssPageName=ADME:L:storeconfirma:UK:10001

Easter Atc's

These are my easter atc's for a swap being hosted on the Lotstodo forum. Backing papers have been used for all of them. Pictues have been added and embellished with flowers, brads, buttons and gems

Chinese New Year

These are for an ATC swap on UKStampers forum. Backing is red paper with gold dragons and then various images cut out and stuck on. Metalic gold pen was used to edge

Altered Match Box Swap

I covered this small match box with Sir Tim papers from the distressed range. For the outside I used the pen nibs papers and for the inside I used the numbers papers. For the ouside of the inner box, I used frayed burlap distressed ink to cover. I then attached a nib embellishment to the inside of the inner box and a mini domino and a gold coloured circular embellishment to the top of the outer box

Distressed Tag Swap

These are the tags I have made for a distressed tag swap running on Lotstodo Forum. The top 2 are made from mountboard and the bottom one is just a manilla tag. The backgrounds have all been made using distressed ink and then sprayed with either red and/or green glimmer mist. An image has then been stamped on with Staz on ink. I added an 'M' embellishment to the bottom one. Brown string attached to finish

AngC's Birthday Bits

These are a couple of bits I made for Ang's birthday which is tomorrow. I cut the letters out of Tim's papers along with a piece from the pen nib and car no plate sheets and covered the wooden block, I had wanted to make it into a key ring but my stash didn't arrive in time. Ang commented that she liked the bottle made from black UTEE so I attached the letter 'A' to it and made it into a fridge magnet - I hope she will like them

Mixing and Matching the Baked Clay Pieces

Nothing is stuck down, was just looking to see how they worked out before I make some more!!!
